Survivor Series 2009
Survivor Series Elimination match
Team Mickie (Mickie James, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Melina (WWE Diva's ©), & Gail Kim) VS. Team Michelle (Michelle McCool (WWE Women's ©), Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layal & Alicia Fox)
Jesse: I'll be getting little BBQ hot dogs during this match so I'm the winner.
Winners: Team Mickie
Andy: After many months of agonizing defeats, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not any good at picking the divas matches in a logical manner. Therefore, I'm picking Team Mickie because they have my favorite diva on their team: Kelly Kelly!
Winners: Team Mickie
Jon: I would love for Michelle McCool's team to win here considering she is on my fantasy team. These women's matches are always a straight up guess so I'm going with Mickie's team.
Winners: Team Mickie
Lonnie: Uh....I have no idea. Team Mickie has Kelly Kelly who is the hottest one in this match so they will win. Good reasoning, I know.
Winners: Team Mickie
John Bob: Hopefully this will be kept short in order to give the other matches more time. I'm going to go with Team Mickie since it appears that she's going to be challenging Michelle for the Women's Championship soon.
Winners: Team Mickie
Survivor Series Elimination match
Team Morrison (John Morrison (WWE Intercontinental ©), Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy, & Finlay) VS. Team Miz (The Miz (WWE United States ©), Jack Swagger, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, & Dolph Ziggler)
Jesse: I have to pick Miz because he's a Browns fan.
Winners: Team Miz
Andy: I think Team Miz actually looks better on paper than Team Morrison, but more storylines and confrontations are possible if Team Miz loses. I'm anticipating that Team Miz will lose in my upset of the night because of some argument between The Miz and Jack Swagger which will result in a match between them in the near future.
Winners: Team Morrison
Jon: When you think about it, the people on Miz's team need/deserve more of a push than the other guys. Morrison is already huge and doesn't need a push. Shelton has been jobbing since he came to the WWE. I expect this to be a great match up with The Miz finding a way to pull off a victory in the end.
Winners: Team Miz
Lonnie: On The Miz's team we have a bunch of talented men with much potential. On Morrison's team there are a bunch of guys with talent that, with the exception of Morrison (Bourne is talented but going nowhere), are never going to be given a chance. I feel that Miz's team should win so that someone could get a signature moment to catapult their career. However, due to my pick in the other elimination match I feel that the face team is going to have to win this one.
Winners: Team Morrison
John Bob: By looking at the teams, I would think The Miz's team has the advantage since Morrison's team is comprised of people that lose a lot more matches than they win. However, The Miz beat John Morrison and I don't think he will get two straight pay-per-view wins over him. The Miz and Jack Swagger will argue over something and lead to their downfall.
Winners: Team Morrison
Survivor Series Elimination match
Team Kingston (Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, Christian (ECW ©), & R-Truth) VS. Team Orton (Randy Orton, William Regal, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, & CM Punk)
Jesse: John told me that Team Orton couldn't lose. So I'll go with that.
Winners: Team Orton
Andy: Well if you've been watching RAW lately then you know that Kofi Johnson has looked very impressive and it appears that he could even beat Orton. However, we all know that's not going to happen because Orton needs a win badly. Plus I've been told from an anonymous source that there is no way that Team Orton will lose to Team Johnson. So I guess we'll go with that. Oh, wait, it's Kofi Kingston? Who knew the difference anyway?
Winners: Team Orton
Jon: Randy Orton > Kofi Kingston....Orton's team wins.
Winners: Team Orton
Lonnie: I am really glad that the WWE has moved Orton on to a new and fresh feud with a young talent. Kofi has been doing a great job the past few weeks also. I think that these two could have a great feud even though I do not see that happening. I see them being captains here then fighting at TLC in December then not fighting again due to January being the Royal Rumble. I have a feeling that the WWE would want Kofi’s team to win as they have been letting him continually get the upper hand so that you believe he has a chance against Orton. Unfortunately, Orton's team is stacked compared to Kofi's and should win. I think Orton and Punk could win this match by themselves if they had to.
Winners: Team Orton
John Bob: There is absolutely no way Orton's team should lose this. If they wrestled ten times, I would say Orton's team wins ten times. Especially since Kofi has had Orton's number at every turn so far. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to Kofi against all three members of Legacy. Kofi will try to be like Shawn Michaels in 2003 against Orton's team when it was 3-on-1 then. Kofi will come close but in the end his team will lose because lets face it....Kofi is no Shawn Michaels and if Shawn can't overcome a 3-on-1, how will Kofi?
Winners: Team Orton
Batista VS. Rey Mysterio
Jesse: Never picking Rey again.
Winner: Batista
Andy: I can't really decide on this match so it's my toss-up for the night. Heads is Batista and tails is Rey Mysterio. It's tails and Rey Mysterio with the victory.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
Jon: This is a complete contrast in styles, big and slow versus jumping off things. They will let Rey have his moments for the kiddies, but Batista will win in the end.
Winner: Batista
Lonnie: So if Rey actually pulls this thing off, the Animal that Batista has been turned into this past month will officially be neutered. But that is not going to happen. Rey will almost win by a fluke, but I feel that Batista will eventually win convincingly.
Winner: Batista
John Bob: Batista has become an interesting person to watch since he has turned heel. His face character was getting stale. In order to remain a credible "monster" that people need to fear, he must destory Rey in this match. This wouldn't be surprising since there is a rumor floating around that Rey needs another knee surgery. What better way to write him off than have Big Dave destroy him?
Winner: Batista
Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Undertaker (©) VS. Big Show VS. Chris Jericho
Jesse: They can't have Taker lose the title this early.
Winner: Undertaker
Andy: There are a lot of factors that play into picking the winner of this match. First of all, I'm pretty sure that the Undertaker will not get pinned or submit but he could still lose regardless. Second, I'm almost positive the Big Show will not win the title. You also have to consider the next pay-per-view being TLC and which man is in the best shape to fight in a match like that. I was surprised to learn that Undertaker was in a TLC match in June of last year so he is capable of being in a match like that. That being said, I just have a feeling that Y2J will pull a fast one and get a cheap pin on the Big Show. I've got Chris Jericho in my heel victory of the night.
Winner: Chris Jericho
Jon: Jericho deserves to win here because he has got it all. Talent in the ring and on the mic. Look for this match to get stagnant as Jericho gets knocked out so Taker and Show can stare each other down and Show can embarrass himself. Wrestling fail, bathroom break win.
Winner: Undertaker
Lonnie: Does anyone actually believe that Big Show has a shot of winning this? I didn't think so. So now it is down to Jericho and Undertaker. If Jericho gets the belt, there will be a great TLC match next month, but he will then have to address having two championships, being on both shows, and his recent disputes with Big Show. I feel Jericho will be champion again but just not now as he has so much else to do at the moment. Undertaker will hold on here and take the belt into the new year and lead to an interesting set up for what may be his final WrestleMania.
Winner: Undertaker
John Bob: As much as I'd like Jericho to win, I can't picture the WWE giving the title to someone who is already one half of the tag champs. On the other side, lets face facts...Big Show shouldn't be near the title. So, I guess that leaves us with Undertaker. I think he'll retain although I don't know how he'll do next month in a TLC match. I guess will wait and see. Taker keeps the belt warm for Batista.
Winner: Undertaker
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship
Triple H VS. John Cena (©) VS. Shawn Michaels
Jesse: Oh boy! I only want one person to win this match and that's HBK. I doubt it will happen so I'm picking Cena.
Winner: John Cena
Andy: D-X has been leading us on to believe that they will stick together against John Cena in this match. However, I think we all know that this won't happen because the match would end up being a suckfest. My prediction is that John Cena will retain the title in my face victory of the night and perform in his second TLC match of his career next month.
Winner: John Cena
Jon: Cena wins it, he loses it, he wins it back. All in the matter of a couple of months. Are they really going to make him lose it again? Sure he will no doubt be booed by the fans because of the other two in this match. I would love to see HHH or Michaels win it here just so they can feud with each other which was one of the best rivalries the WWE has ever seen. Cena wins it though.
Winner: John Cena
Lonnie: Well they have been trying to build it up that Cena has no shot of winning this, but be honest with yourself...He is going to win. As shown by when Orton won the belt with Evolution, Triple H does not like his partner hold the championship instead of him. Plus, this gives the WWE a way to break up D-X for WrestleMania as it is more valuable to the company if Triple H and Shawn fight in singles matches. This is most likely going to be match of the night and I would say match of the year since HBK is in it, but that won’t happen as HBK has already locked up that honor with his WrestleMania match with Undertaker.
Winner: John Cena
John Bob: So Triple H says nothing can break D-X up? They will make sure the WWE Championship comes to D-X one way or another? I find those comments to be interesting because I think it wasn't too long ago when Triple H said the WWE Championship was his life and he would pedigree his own grandmother to get it. Has he had a change of heart? I think he would ditch the D-X gimmick in a second to hold the belt. Unfortunately, I feel like Shawn is in this match to take the fall. Tension will get between D-X and one of them may turn but regardless, Cena wins. The champ is still here.
Winner: John Cena
